我々は、年始に行われました予選会において敗退してしまいましたが、今回推薦という形で出場させていただけること、心より感謝申し上げます。特に海外のチームと試合をさせていただく機会は滅多にないので、部員一同今からワクワクしています。そしてここでの経験を、今後の相模ラグビー部で必ず活かしていきます。また、本大会を通じて、ラグビーの魅力をさらに発見し、よりラグビーに打ち込むことのできる良い機会にしたいです。もちろん、出場する機会をいただいたからには優勝を目指し、新チームが始動してからやってきたことを発揮してチャレンジしたいと思います。今年の強みのFWで圧倒し、相模らしいBKのプレーにぜひ注目してください。ラグビーを全力で楽しみ、一生懸命プレーします。
Despite losing in the preliminary in the beginning of the year, we are allowed to take part in this year's competition by recommendation, we would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. We are especially excited to have the opportunity to play against teams from overseas, as it is not often that we get the chance to do so. We will definitely build on our experience here in playing rugby for the Sagami Rugby in the future. We also hope that this tournament will be a great opportunity for us to further discover the appeal of rugby and to devote ourselves more to the sport. And of course, now that we have been given the opportunity to compete, we will aim to win the championship and take on the challenge of showing what we have done since this team started. We will dominate with our FW, which is our strength this year, and please pay attention to our BK play, which is typical of Sagami. We will enjoy rugby to the fullest and play hard.
