Napier Boys’ High is very humbled and grateful to have received the invitation to attend the Sanix World Rugby Youth Tournament. Last year Napier Boys’ celebrated its 150th Jubilee. We are a school founded on traditional values and have a proud record of academic, sporting and cultural excellence. Our 1st XV have a proud record at 1st XV level and we are immensely proud as a team to represent the ‘Sky Blue’ at this years tournament. We are a mix of youth and experience. We have nine players who were key members of the 2022 team that were runners up in the New Zealand Schools National Championship. We are excited about experiencing the Japanese culture and see this as a trip of a lifetime for our team. We will uphold our school motto throughout this trip: Me tika te mahi, kia mataara - Do right and fear nothing.
